As an adult, I drink 3 to 4 quarts of water a day in between meals. Further, for every quart of water, I add 1/4 teaspoon celtic salt (not regular salt) to my meals. Remember 8 oz = 1 cup; 32 oz = 4 cups = 1 quart. So, I'm drinking a 32 oz mug of water 3 to 4 x day and salting my meals. Wait 1/2 hour after drinking a quart of water before you eat, and then don't drink with your meals. Wait 2 to 2 1/2 hours after eating before drinking your next quart of water.
